New office opens in Germany to support international expansion
Bielefeld, Germany – March 16, 2020
“The German market offers tremendous opportunities for our products, consumers’ expectations for speed and quality are constantly growing, and leading e-merchants are setting the standards. It is essential for other companies to keep up and more manpower alone cannot be the solution.”
Romain Moulin, Co-Founder and CEO of Exotec
Exotec offers a robotized picking solution, the Skypod, which was awarded the prize for the best product in the category “picking, conveying, lifting and storage technology” at LogiMAT 2019. It is the only solution worldwide to feature robot fleets that operate in three dimensions within a light rack system going up to 10 meters high, so the full height of the warehouse building can thus be used. It is a complete “goods-to-human” solution that is as flexible and scalable as a manual system and as efficient and productive as an automated solution. The Skypod system can be implemented in four to six months and racks and robots can be added over time without disturbing or interrupting ongoing operations.
Since December 2019, Exotec partners with the Nuremberg-based intralogistics specialist Klinkhammer Intralogistics GmbH. Skypod is now part of Klinkhammer’s offer and can be purchased with its warehouse management software and services. In 2020, Exotec will develop new German partnerships to expand the installation of Skypod systems throughout German warehouses.
EXOTEC provides innovative robotic solutions to optimize order picking systems for logistics players. Founded in 2015 by Romain Moulin and Renaud Heitz, EXOTEC drives innovation in logistics and offers distributors an agile and efficient solution that adapts to their needs and growth.
