February 3, 2026

The new building serves as a strategic innovation hub to support the company’s accelerated growth.

Wasquehal, France – February 3, 2026 – Exotec, a global leader in warehouse automation, today announced the opening of Imaginarium, its new 25,000-square-meter headquarters in Northern France.  Designed as a central innovation and industrial hub, Imaginarium supports Exotec’s growth by bringing research, development, production, and operations together within a single site.

The new headquarters brings together more than 700 employees across engineering, product, and support functions, reflecting Exotec’s strategy to develop and manufacture its robotic solutions in Europe while serving customers worldwide.

The inauguration marks the first edition of Exosummit, Exotec’s first flagship event bringing together customers, partners, investors, and other industry leaders to explore the convergence of innovation and technology as it influences the future of intralogistics.

A long-term industrial investment

Developed in partnership with the BMG Group under a 12-year forward-funded lease agreement (BEFA) signed in 2022, the headquarters is organized around a central space that optimizes proximity and collaboration between teams involved in research, development, production, and operations.

R&D and production play a central role within the Imaginarium. The site includes an 8,560-square-meter production area equipped with 11 operational Exotec systems, used for manufacturing, system testing, validation, and the continuous improvement of both software and hardware.

“Imaginarium represents a major technological and industrial investment. By bringing R&D, production and operations together within our headquarters, we strengthen our ability to develop robust, scalable solutions closely aligned with our customers’ requirements,” explained Romain Moulin, CEO and co-founder of Exotec

“Imaginarium reflects our commitment to build in Europe and our decision to invest for the long term. This headquarters has been designed to support Exotec’s technological roadmap and industrial ambitions over time, while remaining firmly anchored in our local environment,” said Renaud Heitz, CTO and co-founder of Exotec

The new headquarters supports Exotec’s continued international expansion, serving as a hub for teams across the company’s global organization. By hosting regular team trainings and seminars, Imaginarium enables closer collaboration as the company scales worldwide.

In recent years, Exotec expanded its global footprint with offices in North America (Atlanta, GA), Germany  (Munich), and the APAC region (Tokyo and Seoul), to support the rapidly growing international customer base.  Recent customer announcements include the first project in South Korea, MUSINSA, and additional sites from long-standing client Renault Group in Central Europe.

As Exotec continues to grow, Imaginarium is positioned as a long-term industrial and innovation hub supporting the next generation of the company’s robotic solutions and global customer projects.
