Exotec Announces Partnership with MUSINSA, leading Korean Fashion Platform, to Power State-of-the Art Automated Warehouse

January 27, 2026

The facility in Yeoju, South Korea, will leverage Exotec’s Skypod  system to support their rapidly growing full-scale logistics.

Exotec, a global provider of warehouse solutions, announced a partnership with MUSINSA, South Korea’s leading fashion platform. The collaboration is Exotec’s first customer deployment in the Korean market and represents a key milestone in the company’s expansion across the Asia-Pacific market. The project supports MUSINSA’s continued international growth as global demand for K-fashion accelerates.

MUSINSA supports independent labels as a leading e-commerce and physical retail store for trendy and luxury Korean brands. Its logistics operations manage hundreds of thousands of SKUs, with inventory levels fluctuating significantly due to seasonal launches and high-volume sales events. To sustain growth, MUSINSA required a highly flexible automation solution capable of handling SKU complexity, rapid inventory turnover, and variable peak demand while maintaining fast, reliable multi-channel fulfillment.

To meet these requirements, MUSINSA selected Exotec to provide the core automation infrastructure, including the Skypod system and Deepsky WES software, for its new warehouse in Yeoju, South Korea. Features of the automation solution include Exotec’s autonomous Skypod robots, which can travel within storage racks up to 14 meters high while maintaining access to any SKU in two minutes or less. This allows MUSINSA to optimize the square footage of their warehouse, despite the sheer volume of SKUs flowing in and out.

Additionally, the modularity of the solution allows the ability to scale capacity as volume grows without a system overhaul, making this a strategic investment as they strengthen their position as a leading apparel provider.

Once deployed, MUSINSA expects to increase picking speed and throughput while improving inventory management and labor operations efficiencies, particularly during peak seasons, while creating a future-ready automation foundation for their expanding business.

“Korea is the most dynamic e-commerce market in Asia. In particular, the logistics demands of the apparel sector have risen significantly due to the global popularity of K-fashion,” said Romain Moulin, CEO of Exotec. “We are pleased to work with an innovative partner like MUSINSA, and the project is an important indicator of our expansion in the APAC market.”

Today, Exotec supports more than 200 customer sites worldwide, working with leading brands including Uniqlo, GAP Inc., and Oxford Industries (Lilly Pulitzer and Tommy Bahama). By combining high-performance hardware with flexible software, Exotec enables companies to adapt quickly to changing supply chain conditions and operational demands.
